That is so helpful to hear! I am currently working from home with a 4 month old and have been struggling. Was feeling guilty because I have probably put unnecessary stress on myself because everyone who hears that I work from home tells me how great that is so I can be with my daughter and work. There are benefits but I can’t seem to get anything done 😅. I am very nervous about sending her to daycare but feel it’s needed.
It is definitely hard. We feel it on the days he doesn’t have school and we stilol have to work. I have had to take off from work before when he was out of school. Just make sure the daycare is following all of the COVID safety protocol.
I'll answer my own question. 😂 It was IMPOSSIBLE! Being in the middle of the pandemic, we had to have someone come in during the mornings to take care of Casey. I would put him down for his nap during my lunch break and he would wake up just as I was finishing up with my last Zoom session. His naps eventually started to get shorter. Thankfully, he was accepted into a Child Development Center. It was scary sending him initially, but we got over it really quickly.
